Uyota Ohwojero was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2024 and oversees the Accounting, Finance 
and Treasury departments at FCMB Trustees Limited.

He is a seasoned accounting and finance  professional with over 12 years work experience in spear heading Financial Management and strategy, financial operations, budgeting, financial reporting and tax management in Nigeria.
Prior to joining FCMB Trustees Limited, he held various finance roles ranging from Oil and gas to 
Financial Services as well as audit and tax consulting. He was the CFO at Greenwich Trustees 
Limited, the Financial Controller at Cititrust Asset Management Limited, the Country General Ledger 
Accountant for Total Energies Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited. He has a solid foundation 
in Statutory Audit, management consulting and Tax at Bayo Arikawe & Co Chartered Accountants
where he began his career and Kreston Pedabo Professional services in Nigeria.

He obtained his BSc. Accounting from the University of Benin in the year 2012. He qualified as a 
Chartered Accountant with ICAN in the year 2012 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered 
Accountants (ICAN) in 2025. He qualified as an affiliate member of the Association of Chartered 
Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK in the year 2017 while holding a certificate on Fixed Income and 
Derivatives from the University of Michigan, USA. He is currently an MBA (Finance Concentration)
Distinction Candidate at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS), USA.
